1 Birth of China -Masterpieces representing Chinese civilization-
This exhibition is focused on unearthed articles from Henan to get to the point of Chinese civilization.
Henan was the capital of main dynasties such as Xia, Shang, Eastern Zhou, Later Han, Wei, Western Jin, Northern Wei and Northern Sung. Even Sui and Tang also based this area as a crucial site.
All materials are carefully seleceted by National Museums in Tokyo, Nara and Kyushu fully supported by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in Henan.
Great artworks from Chinese civilization will be gathered.

2 Chinese exhibition under new concept
Chinese civilization has a tendency to take over previous culture and add new style to develop more.
In other words, it always repeats birth and growing.
This exhibition is consisted of 3 parts, “Dynasty”, “Technique” and “Beauty” to unveil the truth.
Due to this point of view and composition, bronze and jade ware will be shown its historical, cultural value again.
All visitors could enjoy the wide variety of Chinese civilization with new angle.

3 Large variety of very unique articles
Bronze ware, jade ware, porcelain, gold work, painting and letter....
Most excellent 140 pieces from different fields of Chinese civilization will be displayed.

Opening:	9:30 to 17:00 (last admission 16:30)
Closed:	Monday (October 11 (Mon) is open, closed on the following day.)
Admission fee:	Adult 1,300yen (1,100yen) University students and High school students 1,000yen (800yen) Junior high school students and under 600yen (400yen) ( ) is for advance tickets and group (more than 20 people) tickets Admission free for disability and 1 caretaker. Please bring the physical disability certificate. *( ) fee is also for over 65 years old. Please bring the identification with birth date such as health insurance card, driving license, and so on.
