The Golden Trappings - once made the headlines
We proudly announce the debut in Kyushu of the Golden Trappings (National Treasures) excavated in Fujinoki mound in Nara.
This mound hit the headlines discovered as untouched in 1985.
The trappings were decorated with Silk Road originated pattern and they are still beautifully bright.

Trappings information from Asian countries
23 materials (including some on display for the first time in Japan) about equine culture from China and Korea will be exhibited.
Far journey of human and horse in east Asia could be followed.

The world of Golden workmanship
The trappings were collected by ancient local ruling family as a symbol of authorization and they are masterpieces of technical art of that time.
That exquisite technique of microscope level must be very impressive.
