Kyoto National Museum which was inaugurated since 1897 with cultural treasures associated with Kyoto would cooperate with us for this exhibition so that 26 pieces of fine items from Nara era to Muromachi era, including 9 pieces of national treasures and 13 pieces of important cultural assets (scheduled), that is about 150 scenes will be displayed. These picture scrolls were collected by noble families who had loved the beauty or preserved by shrines and temples to carry down the stories of high rank monks. This exhibition would be great opportunity to come into contact with the bright traditional culture of Kyoto.
